Not much. Recommended things to bring are: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a rain jacket. Feel free to bring a small cooler with drinks/snacks. Capt. David provides all fishing gear, fishing licenses, cooler with ice and bottled water
It all depends on the tides and what type of fishing you want to do. Morning trips are great during the heat of the summer and if you want to fish topwater lures. Captain David will reccommend the best time to shove off considering your preferences.

Two. Charters are very active and based on the style of fishing and size of the boat, two is the right number. However, if one or two customer are kids, 3 total customers is fine.
Fishing is good year round, but fall is considered the best time of year. The weather is a little more comfortable for the fishermen and the fish are eating more aggressively as the bait fish begin evacuating the creeks. There is a great sea trout bite during the spring, and summer is consistently good. Winter is the time to sight cast to schooled up redfish in shallow, clear water.
The trip will either be rescheduled or cancelled if there is a SCA (small craft advisory) posted. Otherwise, Captain David and the customers will consult and decide based on the specific situation, always erring on the side of caution. The priority is a safe, comfortable, fun fishing charter.
Yes. Captain David is happy to fillet your fish for you after the trip as long as they are within legal limits. Marsh Maven Fishing Charters encourage the release of all speckled trout over 20”.
