Located in one of the finest fishing destinations in the southeast, Charleston, South Carolina, Marsh Maven Charters specializes in the relentless pursuit of Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder. Captain David Lane has been fishing his whole life. He started out chasing Largemouth Bass around ponds as well as Rainbow and Brown Trout in streams out west. He has fished from Alaska to coastal North Carolina, but has spent the past nine years fishing the estuaries and surrounding waters of Charleston, SC. David graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science and is married to Leslie Lane. They have one daughter, Anne Allen.
Captain David's number one priority (just ahead of getting on the fish) is your safety. He is a United States Coast Guard and CPR certified captain who has gained the situational awareness necessary that only comes from years on the water.
